What Boredom Reeps

Mada: I was so very bored today...all I could think about was Winter...Over and over I started to recite the poem I wrote him...

"A lonely sea of white across a window pane

Wispy flutter of ice that doesn't have a name"

"Deep within the recesses of my heart I cringe

Winter comes to usher in my pain"

"He knows no malice, nor loathes the solitude

Winter is inevitable and so I am torn"

"Torn asunder, cut with icy slivers to my core

Winter comes to usher in my joy"

"I feel the cuts of sharp gusting cold

Arms are encircling me and I know"

"Filled with emotions, spilling my heart onto the floor

Winter comes to usher in overwhelming love"

"You know the feeling of Winter breathing down your neck

Sweet touches that caress the very soul

Lost in a blizzard, stumbling to find the end

Winter comes to find me...I'm no longer alone"
